SCHOOL AND CLASS NEWS
Updated November 23, 2009
Send us news and pictures you'd like to share!
Remember all the times we spent at Popham Beach? Well, the Ocean has decided to reclaim part of the State Park by means of the Morse River. The river has changed its course to the east and is gradually eroding the land. All the dunes are gone and the western bathhouse is now threatened!! As a last ditch measure, the washed out trees have been lashed together and moved to attempt to reinforce the banking to try to reduce the erosion. We all wonder what the winter Nor'easters will do!!

Remember Ed King our Foreign Exchange Student classmate?
Well, Ed received the invitation for the Social Security dinner but living in Australia, he decided it was a bit far to come for an evening!! However he sent an updating email which is below.
Eds' email address is edward.king3@bigpond.com and would welcome any mail from classmates.
BTY, The Social Security dinner was a blast!!
Remember the fun we had at our 60th birthday party? Great news! We have figured out what to celebrate next—our eligibility for Social Security (Hey, any excuse for a party!).
Join the fun at the Taste of Maine restaurant in Woolwich on US Route 1 on Saturday, the 10th of October, 2009 starting at 4 PM . The cash bar will open at 4 PM and we will be able to order dinner from the regular Taste of Maine menu. We can receive separate checks for the cost of the meal but please note that there will be a 7% sales tax and 20% gratuity automatically added. You can preview the menu at www.tasteofmaine.com . E-mail or call Richard or Andrea by Monday, Oct. 5 if you plan to attend so we can give the restaurant a head count,
Even if you can’t join us at the Taste of Maine, please make a note that our 45th Class Reunion will begin on Friday, the 11th of June, 2010 and wind up on Sunday, the 13th, so please save the date!!!!! More information about this exciting event will come to you early next year.
We are missing addresses for some of our classmates. We have included the list on the back on this letter. If you can help us out with correct mailing address, please let us know.
